Choosing the Right Size for Your Home
Our packages are matched to the area you’re treating, not the size of your whole property. A standard heat treatment takes around 16 to 24 hours under good conditions.
If you want to finish faster, or treat several small rooms at once, choose a heater larger than the space needs. Whatever you choose, give the heat enough time to reach every place the bugs could be hiding. We also have options for cars and other vehicles.
Before and After Treatment
Don’t use store-bought sprays or foggers right before a heat treatment, because the heat can break them down. After treatment, you can add a good residual pesticide or a natural spray for longer-term protection.
A Note on Heating Capacity
The maximum areas listed above assume good conditions. You may need a more powerful package if the space has:
- A lot of furniture or belongings
- Concrete block walls
- High or vaulted ceilings
- An unreliable power supply
- Poor insulation or old, drafty windows
It’s better to have extra capacity than to find halfway through that the heater can’t keep up.
DIY Plus Delivery
Delivery starts at $100, and the final fee depends on the distance and how complex the treatment is. We bring the equipment to your door, help you set it up, and stay in touch throughout. Our team can advise on where to put the fans, how to separate rooms, and how to insulate windows to get the best result.
Equipment Pickup
We’ll agree a pickup time with you. Before we arrive, switch the system off, coil the cords, and leave the fans by the entrance. An extra fee may apply if pickup is difficult. Thank you for helping us keep to schedule.
Rental Terms
- Book a few days ahead if you can. Same-day rentals are sometimes available.
- We accept credit and debit cards, cash, and business checks.
- Sales tax and delivery fees may apply.
- You shall need to show your driver's license and credit card when you rent.
- Our heaters are reserved for other customers, so a cancellation fee may apply if you miss your appointment.
- Please return equipment on time. We give a four-hour grace period on the 24-hour rental. After that, the full additional-day fee applies.
